As someone who used to produce publicly advertised sex parties in a rural community for working class people of all identities with all kinds of bodies (all 3 of us hostess-producers were fat women who wouldn't be allowed in high status city parties), I really appreciate this contrast. You confirmed my assumption that while some intentions may be similar, the rich folks aren't having the same experience. The Chelsea party sounds magical.

i'm so glad to hear that, and it sounds like what you're doing is amazing too! i've been to a lot of events i can't afford as "press" and i can honestly say the vibe diminishes when you reach a certain level of pay-to-play, which was kind of liberating for me to realize

This is such an awesome and intriguing experience! I was so glued to your story and when I got to this part - "As the sun starts to rise, I learn who had a bad day, who’s doubting themselves, who’s experienced a recent win, and who’s struggling with money or love." - I knew you had a good night!

I think you've got it spot on with the ability to self express without judgement. That seems to be a rarity these days.... the spaces that allow people to just be. Sometimes most of us don't even have that in our own home.
